I saw Bill's profile on Plenty of Fish. I actually made the first move and "favorited" him. He messaged me and we began conversation. Once again, I made the first move and asked him if he would be interested in meeting up for a drink. We met up at a local pub called the Clover Club and talked the night away. We laughed the whole night. My first impression was that he was very handsome and he definitely wore those tight jeans on purpose. I thought for sure he was way out of my league. At the end of the night he offered to walk me to my car. If you know anything about my luck then you know that of course my car was actually being repaired and I was borrowing my stepfather's friend's 1970 something buick. All I could do was laugh. What did Bill do? He looked at me and said...(I remember this like it was yesterday)..."I would like to do this again sometime." The rest is history!

I had moved to Tiffin from the Detroit area in the summer of 2014. I quickly learned that the transition from big city life to small town living was more challenging than I had originally assumed it would be. I had tried to get acclimated to the area by signing up for as many activities that I could so I could get better acquainted with others. (Professional/community groups, Cooking classes, Wine tasting, etc.) I was finding it rather difficult to meet people that I could make friends with let alone someone to date. I decided to try and see what kind of luck I might have on the internet, so I opened an account on Plenty of Fish (PoF). It seemed like most people that I met on the site were from quite a distance away and I saw limited results with these connections. After being here about 18 months, I was beginning to think that maybe living in Tiffin was just not the thing for me and maybe I should think about moving back to the Detroit area. Then one day in early January, I received a notification on PoF that a very attractive girl named Jami, who I had never seen before on the PoF site, had chosen me as a *Favorite*. We began to chat and seemed to hit it off quite well. We decided to meet for a drink. Once we met up, I realized how extremely cute (BTW: Some of those PoF profile pictures are far less than accurate. lol), smart, and funny this girl really was. I was very attracted to her and I wanted to let her know so as I walked her to her car at the end of the date, I told her that I was interested in seeing her again. She said that she would like that. We ended up going out a couple more times that week. On the third date, we ended up at the Madison Street Tavern. After an incredibly entertaining night of conversation, laughter, and *inappropriate* karaoke, I knew that she was the one for me and since then I have not let her out of my sight.
